Digital Health and Rights Project launches multi-country study

Digital Health and Rights Project

The Digital Health and Rights Project launched a four-country participatory action research study with 300-400 diverse young adults into digital human rights in Colombia, Ghana, Kenya and Vietnam in May. Young community members travel with national research teams to speak to young people living with HIV and key populations in rural, urban and peri-urban settings about their rights and the future world they want online. Researchers from GNP+, KELIN, NAP+ Ghana, University of Warwick, Universidad de los Andes and VNP+ traveled to provide technical assistance, training and to learn from each others’ field sites. The findings will be shared with community members for validation later this year and used in digital literacy training and in policy advocacy. The project is supported by Fondation Botnar, a Swiss foundation.
